my nose is wide and alittle long. it really bothers me because it is the main attraction of my face and makes my eyes seem alot smaller. are there any good make up tips or anything i can do to downplay my nose or make it seem less wide. also i plan on getting full bangs in september will that make my nose seem bigger or smaller? until then what can i do?What makeup will help my wide nose seem thinner or downplay my nose?
use white eyeliner to make your eyes pop then put lighter concealer on the top and darker on the sides use a blush brush to put bronzer on your high cheek bones and wear mascara to open up your eyes. full bangs bad idea it will just make your nose more noticable. What makeup will help my wide nose seem thinner or downplay my nose?
Don't worry about your nose-It will seem unimportant in a month or less-most girsl worry about their ****-If you hav ethem -there is nothing to worry about-just show more of them Report Abuse
When doing corrective makeup, especially on your nose, always use a subtlte touch when highlighting and shading, as you don't want the shading to be too dark or it will be too obvious.
For shading you have two options - depending on the type of foundation you are using.
Cream foundations: use a shade or two darker in a creamy foundation or concealer, and apply as part of your ';base'; makeup; this method is easy to blend into your foundation with a sponge, flat rectangular synthetic blending brush, or just use your finger tips. When using cream foundation as corrective makeup, complete all corrections before you powder.
If you are using powder or liquid foundation, or have powdered your cream base, you can use blush as your contouring tool. To apply, sweep color with a contoured cheek brush. Paula Dorf's Angled Cheek Brush will do make this trick easy! Blend edges softly to give a natural shading effect.
Sculpting your nose into a slightly smaller version requires contouring down the sides of your nose. If your nose is narrow at the top and with wider nostrils, sweep color around nostrils and on tip. And if your nose is long, just a touch of contour around the tip.
If you are used to wearing makeup everyday, you may want to balance contouring your nose by contouring your jaw or under your cheek bones to really enhance the shape of your face.
Highlighting along the bridge of your nose, from the top of your nose out in a triangle to your temples - where the light hits your face naturally.
Work with your bone structure, creating shadows, contouring and de-emphasizing with a shade or two darker than your foundation; while highlighting will bring out your best assets. By interweaving the play of light on your face, you will learn to develop your own distinctive beauty look :)
Work with your hairdresser to make sure your hairstyle is enhancing the natural architecture of your facial features.
Have fun making up!
ko well to make your face appear thinner- and your nose! i highly recommend my tips from the M.A.C counter i work at...
1. apply bronzer evenly to these places:
-the top of your forehead
-a little on your chin
-the tps of your cheeks, where you smile
and lastly- the bridge of your nose
that will make your face look more 3d and your nose will appear thinner!
also, you may want to do some great eye make up to draw the attention away from your nose- try some heavy blacks or some rich colors, like pinks, purples, bronzes.... just to make your eyes stand out!
the only thing bangs will do is draw the attention away from other parts of your body.. if anythig i would think that bangs would make them look biger- try sidebangs!
good luck n i hope i helped you! 10 points?
Yes, to draw attention AWAY from your nose, you've got to have that attention being drawn elsewhere. Eye makeup - bold colors, but not too heavy. Especially with MAC eyeshadow - a little goes a LONG way and it seems like most people who buy from that brand do not know what a ';light hand'; means and are really wasting a lot of makeup. Less is more. Use colors that are the opposite of your eye color - if you have brown eyes, use blues and greens, if you have blue eyes, use greens and browns, etc.
With shading... use blush or darker foundation on the sides and bottom center of nostril. Use lighter foundation (or powder) on the top part /bridge. It will create the illusion your nose is smaller and shorter.
Blush- not too much tho. Also, wear eye shadow (not too heavy) but attraction to ur face would be to your eyes
Are you serious! WHO CARES!
