Makeup Help?

I have ivory skin, hazel eyes, and golden blonde hair. What are some makeup tips to make the most of what I have? I really don't wear that much makeup, I prefer a natural look but I'd like to experiment a little with some different looks. Also what are some good quality but fairly inexpensive brands of makeup? What brand do you like to use the most?Makeup Help?
Soft shades of peach, coral, terra cotta and brown for lips %26amp; cheeks, and olive-y greens, beiges, gold, soft golden browns for eyes will flatter your soft warm coloring. Try to avoid anything with a pinky or blue-y look.


As for brands, Almay and Max Factor tend to have warmer shades, I like Almay a lot. Maybelline and Cover Girl tend toward the cooler shades.

i would get Almay intense eye color for hazel eyes.... it will really enhance you eyes alot

I don't know if you are high on the budget, but I'm a poor student. therefore, the only makeup i can afford are drugstore brands. I have tried just about all brands, and i can say that covergirl and maybelline and maybe even loreal are bad for your skin. in general, foundation is bad for your skin, so if you have ok to good skin, then avoid that!! i'm so serious, foundation is terrible good for your skin. i used to wear foundation all the time, and it makes me break out. the cycle never ends and i hated it. it doesn't matter if it says non comedongenic or whatever, it will clog your pores. You have to let your skin breathe. one day i got tired of wearing makeup and so i stopped. it was hard at first, but i have not worn foundation in 1 year, and my skin is clear and glowing. not a drop of foundation. so that's my gripe about foundation. I do, however, wear lipstick and gloss everyday. for makeup other than foundation, i would recommend ALMAYS or NEUTROGENA. i just bought this lipstick called IDEAL LIP COLOR or whatever from almays, and it's awesome because the colors are universal so it will look good on anyone. I LOVE IT. it takes the guessing work out. it's about $6-$7 per tube. almay also has this pretty line of eyeshadows that are designed to bring out your eyes depending on your eye color so you can look into that. since we are going into summer, you want to keep the look soft, pretty, simple, and natural... meaning less is more. so with that pretty description of yourself, i would recommend waterproof mascara, a bronzer to make you glow, and a sweet berry bursting pinkish lipstick or gloss (ditch the foundation and powder or you will melt). a day at the beach look!! good luck and i hope you find your pretty look.
Bare minerals is awesome! It works for all skin types.. and the best part is it actually helps clear up blemishes..and doesn't clog your pores or anything. You'll loveee it. lol Hope this helps hun!!! :)
