No idea how to do makeup help?

How do you do it?

Foundation then blusher?

Do you put foundation all over your face, or just in specific places?

Blusher just on the cheeks? Alot? How much??

foundation, blusher, eyeliner, eyeshadow, lipgloss... is there anything else? Are you meant to put them on in a specific order?

Sorry, I'm kind of behind in the makeup department =/

Any makeup tips would be helpful :)

Thanks if you could help!!!No idea how to do makeup help?
unless you have a very bad complexion, i would skip the foundation and just use concealer, and only use it on the spots you need (around the eyes, around the corners of your nose, the crease in your chin and on any pimples) then what i do is use a bronzer, suck in your cheeks and start there then use it to go over the cheeks where the sun would hit you (over the nose also) then lightly go over the rest of your face with it. then do your blush naturally over where the sun would hit your cheeks, use an amount that you can just kinda tell you put some on, not where it looks too dramatic. then go over with a powder that matches your complexion. now once you get to the eyes, it gets a little more tricky....you will need to practice different ways to put your eyeliner on since i dont know what you look like, i cant suggest what i think would look the best but normally eyeliner on the bottom, i find, is universally flattering. follow the eyeliner to your bottom lashline. then finish with some lengthening mascara and use your eyelash curler- i always heat mine up with the blow dryer for a quick second, then i might even curl my lashes a few different times. and as for lipstick, that is very trail and error. you should play with diff colors and see what works best, but a good rule of thumb i heard was looking at the color of the inside of your bottom lip and going off of that. it will turn out being a reasonably natural looking color. hope this all helps you!!!!!No idea how to do makeup help?
You want to put foundation all over your face then blend it, then you want to powder down the foundation so your blush will blend easily, then you want to do eyeshadow, then eyeliner, then mascara, then lipgloss. Don't apply very much blush, a little goes a long way, apply a little to the roundest part of your cheek and blend towards the outer edges of your face.
You put blusher on after foundation

Make an even coat of foundation all over your face

Blusher can go on your cheeks, nose and forehead(parts of it)

Only apply as much as you need

In order you should do :

Moisturiser

Concealer(if needed)

Foundation

Eyeshadow

Eyeliner

Mascara

Lip gloss

hope this helps u babe, if u need anymore help just email me

Hey! I'll make sure to include helpful tips and links to produts.

Your first step is to wash and moisturize your face. You should always apply makeup onto a clean canvas. A well moisturized face doesn't require as much foundation since it kind of glides on!

1. Foundation

What you want to use is a light foundation. I use a mousse texture one, which is really easy to apply. It's preferable to apply it only where you need it, but blend it in really well on the rest of your face. Apply the foundation with your fingertips for a more natural result.

2. Powder

In order to set foundation, you should use a pressed or loose powder. This will take all the shine away and really even out your complexion.

Apply it and insist on your t-zone (nose, chin and forehead). You don't really need powder on the cheeks, unless yours are oily.

3. Blusher

Your third step is blusher. Apply it with a large brush, starting on the apples of your cheeks (the part of your cheek that stands out when you smile) towards your temples. Make sure you blend it in really well. You don't need a lot of it, it should look natural. Stick with pinks, and peachy colours.

4. Eyeliner

Use a chocolate liner. If you're sort of behind in the makeup realm, chocolate is a lot more fool-proof then black is. Rim your eyes with a sharp eyeliner and blend it into your lashline with a q-tip. This is the best way to do it, because it makes the line a lot less harsh and hides your little mishaps.

5. Eyeshadow

Don't go overboard with eyeshadow. If I was you, I would stick with neutrals. Thinks browns, champagnes, etc.

Buy a kit like this one :

It's neutral colours you can't go wrong with, and it even says where you should apply it onto the eyeshadow! Very practical, and fool-proof.

6. Lipgloss

Apply this when you're done. Stick with pinks, nudes, neutrals. Don't go for brights...it can ruin your whole makeup.

There's no application technique or anything, just go with whatever you like best! No better brand either, but maybelline has a nice selection.

I'm really bad at makeup too. I recommend making an appointment at a department store makeup counter such as Clinique or Mac - it's free, but you should buy something at least! They can help you choose good colors and good makeup to start off with. Just tell them your situation and they will be very helpful! They'll also show you how to apply it.

For foundation, I just use some concealer in the trouble spots, then a light powder all over to control shine, minimize pores and smooth my complexion.

Blush can be tough, but experiment with what works well. I just use a little bronzer right below my cheekbones because I have naturally rosy cheeks and don't want to add more red!

For my eyes, I mostly use Almay ';bring out the blues';. It's a compact that comes with three colors designed to bring out your eye color. I like it because I don't have to get confused picking colors.

For eye liner, I use a powdered eyeliner in pearl black (Loreal) with an eyeliner brush. Using a brush doesn't give you the harsh, black line some like, but I hate on me. The brush gives you a more natural look.

Mascara goes on last, and curling your eyelashes before always makes them look better. I use Cover Girl Volume Exact, but you may have to experiment with what works best for you.

For my lips, I just use a sheer pink/red color with a clear lip gloss over that for some shine.

The colors of your makeup will depend on your skintone, haircolor, eye color, etc. which is why I advice visiting a pro. Or you can just experiment with lots of colors - it can be fun, but can also get expensive!

ALSO - www.makeupally.com is a great website for makeup reviews. I research any new products I want to try on there first!
Take it easy, honey. It all depends on your hair color, your skin tone, your eye color....ect. First, get some foundation (I recomend true blend) and see what your skin tone is. Cover your whole face with it (but don't cake it on). if you have pale skin, don't use blush. If you have dark skin, use a apple red color and put it on lightly. and put the blush on the upper side of your cheeks. then for the eye liner, shadow, ...ect. if you have dark hair, put eyeliner on only the top part of your eyelid. Alot of times if girls put eyeliner on the bottom, it looks really bad. If you have light hair, use a brown eyeliner, so it doesn't stand out to much. eye shadow can be tricky. if you have brown or blue, use pink and brown colors. if you have green or gray eyes, use blues and grays. that would look really good. lip stick can be too much if you want to look casual. use light colored lip gloss. if your going to work or somthing, use a light apple red color, or a peachy orangy pink. Remeber that you never haft to go over board to look beatyful. go natraul. It is so much more prettyier. I really hope this helps. P.S always put ALL your make up on light. dont over do it. Good luck.
If you're just starting out, opt for a tinted moisturizer rather than a foundation. If you can't find a tinted moisturizer, just mix a blob of your regular facial moisturizer with a drop of foundation. Then apply it all over your face with either your hands or a cosmetic wedge sponge. You may want to blend it onto your neck a bit so you don't get a line. Then, if you want, use concealer to cover any imperfections. I would recommend starting out with a liquid concealer because it blends easier than stick or cream ones. Then apply a sheer veil of translucent powder all over your face with a big, fluffy brush. Make sure you don't use too much--powder can be tricky. You don't want to look cakey. I would suggest doing your eyeshadow next. Use a sheer wash of color with a slight shimmer to it. The color is your choice. I find that a sheer plum or taupe is pretty much foolproof. Also, a sheer, shimmery white color right underneath your eyebrows brings instant life to your eyes. Skip eyeliner--it tends to look dated. Instead use a black mascara (I love LashBlast by CoverGirl) to lightly coat your lashes. If you have clumps, gently wipe off your mascara wand with a tissue or make-up removal cloth to remove excess product, and then comb through your lashes again with the clean mascara brush. Finally, use a big blush brush to swirl a pinky-peach blush onto the apples of your cheeks, your temples, your chin, and then bridge of your nose. Apply very little blush as you can always add more. Finally, a swipe of clear lip gloss or balm should complete your look.

Good luck!

:]
Foundation first. all over your face.

then powder, then blush/bronzer just on your cheekbones.

make a fishy face, it really does help =]

then eyeliner, then eyeshadow, then mascara.

put eyeshadow before mascara so it wont drop on your eyelashes.

and put eyeliner before eyeshadow so you know where to put it.

and use a light lipgloss, not lipstick. it is bad for your lips.

it makes them dry.

hope this has helped =] =] =]
I think if you want to use makeup you should try Cover Girl or Rimmel London. I have tried and bought both of those brands and I think they are equally great! I don't use anything like eyeliner or blush. I think foundation has better coverage then liquid cover up. Foundation goes all over your face. It isn't necessary to over apply it though(putting too much on) because it might look a bit cakey. So if that happens I just usually grab a towel to wipe off the parts I put too much on. I put on eyeshadow, then the mascara, then the concealer and then the foundation. I also put some concealer over my foundation just under my eyes (because I have dark eye circles.) Then I put on lipstick or lip gloss. Concealer isn't an asset unless you have blemishes or dark under eye circles you want to cover up.

For eye shadow I use N.Y.C right now but they have discontinued my color. So I will switch to Rimmel London or Cover Girl.

For foundation I think you should try the Cover Girl Aqua Smooth. It comes in a blue compact.

For lipstick and lip gloss I think Cover Girl is great! I use the tru shine lipstick and the wetslicks lip gloos.

For mascara I think Rimmel London lash maxxx is great! It has no clumps and actually works!

Go to covergirl.com and read some reviews on their website from other customers.

Also try: rimmellondon.com

They have some reviews from customers as well
well first you have to have good products, the cheap kind just dont work well. secondly, how about someone show you INSTEAD of trying to explain. Very simple. Go to Youtube.com and type in the search field ';makeup tutorials'; youll get HUNDREDS of how to videos showing you step by step. they;; have ones especially for face, eyes, or full on makeup. The great part is you can search for a TYPE of look you wanna go for. you can search for a ';pinup'; ';smokey eye'; ';arabian'; ';christina aguilara'; ';leona lewis'; ';MAC'; looks. anything you want. they'll even tell you what product they are using down to the brushes. Now go have fun!
