I have really oily skin need help wid makeup?

Tried every make up there is and every thing i tried like after wearing it an hour or so my face is all shinny. Do you know of any make up that want make your face shinny if you have oily skin?I have really oily skin need help wid makeup?
I have oily, acne-prone skin and recommend the following (which keeps me matte for 8 to 9 hours):

1. Oil mattifier. I use Murad Oil Control Mattifier which sells for $40 at Sephora. It goes under your makeup, after you wash your face and absorbs oil.

2. Mattifying foundation. I am in love with Make Up For Ever Mat Velvet which sells for $34 at Sephora. It is a liquid foundation but it is so great at absorbing oil. Also, you do not need to set it with powder.

3. Blot powder or blotting sheets just in case you still see a little shine throughout the day.I have really oily skin need help wid makeup?
The key to great makeup is great skin. To keep your skin clear, use a cleanser formulated for oily/acne prone skin. I recommend Murad and ';Outer Peace Acne Relief Kit'; by Aveda. You also want to use an oil-free moisturizer. Exfoliate twice per week. A simple exfoliator is baking soda. Take baking soda and wet it. Scrub gently in circular motions over the face. Exfoliation removes dead skin cells and helps unclog pores. You can also take plain egg white and use as a mask; leave on the face for about 15 minutes.

You will want to use non-cream based makeup. I sell Bare Minerals which is excellent.
heres a routine.

exfoliate face (only once a week tho!)

cleanse your face(everyday)(try getting a gel cleanser, they work best)

use a toner(everyday)

then put on an oil free moisturizer for oily skin(everyday)

and heres my makeup routine-

*dab on concealer wherever and rub in

*put on an oil control foundation, revlon has one called colorstay foundation and its the CLOSEST drugstore brand to being professional, plus its cheap! (normally a powder foundation works best, but they dont work so good sometimes. the best mineral foundation is bare minerals tho, check it out!)

*put on a STAIN blush. Stains or powders work best for oily skin because they soak up the oil, cream makes it even more oily!

*set my makeup with a translucent power. ones without salicylic work best, so opt for an organic one. they glide on easier and dont clump. the reason i dont use colored setting powder is because it usually clumps because my oily skin!
My skin is super oily. My recommendation is that you should not wear regular foundations. Use a concealer that has an expandable texture. I have tried all kinds of foundation that you could name from CG to Chanel. There is not that much of difference in getting shiny. I love Vichy Dermablend Concealer. I have also heard good things about Maybelline's new Super Stay.
Rockina,

Before any makeup goes on, you need to address the oily skin issue. Like you I also have oily skin, this is what I use and do:

Coonobabe Pepino cleanser, followed by their Manzanillo toner. Wash face with cleanser, pat dry with clean towel, apply toner with cotton pad, and allow to air dry. In hot humid days, I need to repeat this 2-3 times a day, when I can. My skin is clean to the touch, oil/pimple free as a result. Never use soap to clean your face, that will only irritate your skin, and it will produce more oil.

For foundation, I suggest their Savila base liquid foundation topped off with their happy endings powder to allow it to set in.

hope this answers your question.

http://www.coonobabe.com
ok this is what u do.first wash ur face start using a cleanser for oily skin. after u wash, put on sum concealer (jus a little) then get some powder and dust it over your face.you can buy oil blotting sheets at rite aid so during the day if ur face get oily dab a sheet on ur oily parts then touch up ur makeup with the powder foundation. hope i helped
Use a make up primer like Avon's Magix or Smashbox. Avon's works really well for oily skin. Also you might want to check out the skin care products at Makeup Artist's Choice.com They have some really great stuff that have helped out my oily skin A LOT! I use their Lactic Acid Peel twice a week and their Glyluronic acid serum everyday before I put on my makeup.
first you need to get a face cleanser created for oily skin.

once that's done I'd suggest using a mineral makeup. I use bare minerals and absolutely love it.
use clean and clears oil blotting sheets when your skin starts to get oily.
How ever old you are, I'm sorry but you need to know you can't just get rid of your oily skin by foundation/makeup/concealer!!!

WASH YOUR FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am starting high school in a couple of months and want to know about cool styles in clothes and makeup. Help?

First off: welcome to the journey.

They say the best years of your life come from high school. I'm not sure if that's true, but make the most of it just to be safe.

Let's first discuss clothes:

1. Don't follow too many trends. The more trends you follow, the more you lose yourself and who you really are. Try to find things that fit your personality and not other people's personality.

2. Find yourself a few great pairs of jeans that don't go above your ankles and FIT you. You will live in them, trust me.

3. Your shirts should make you look both cute and confident. Find shirts with patterns, solid colors, and even lace. Don't get too many clothes with cartoons or pictures on the front, it seems somewhat immature.

Look for shirts that are: short sleeved, long sleeved, 3/4 sleeves.

Patterns that are in right now: Floral, plaid, animal, stripes, and of course, solids.

4. Shoes are easy. Tennis shoes are always nice to have, but flats, boots, and flip flops are very ';in'; right now.

As long as you don't go overboard and you are comfortable is what matters.

Some outfit suggestions:

A day are school: a white V neck with a black vest, dark wash jeans, and a pair of converse. Cute and casual.

Make up:

1. If you have clear skin already, you shouldn't need a lot of foundation. Try a translucent powder all over.

2. Lip glosses are fine, chap stick is better.

3. A little eye liner and mascara is practical and classy. Simple.

4. Don't go overboard on eye shadow, keep it simple and try new colors.

5. Don't use a lot of blush, may make you look red/sunburned.

6. Don't use too much bronzer! Remember to dab to your forehead/cheeks/nose for a subtle glow.

For more information about clothes and make up, teen magazines are always a great handbook. I would suggest Seventeen for clothes and make up concerns. Go online and use a search engine to look for cute first day of school outfits.

Additional stuff:

Go get a trim before the first day of school and get your eye brows waxed while your there!

When you go shopping look for bags and earrings while your there.

Hope this helps! Good luck.I am starting high school in a couple of months and want to know about cool styles in clothes and makeup. Help?
Hi Vanessa,

I recommend reading through Seventeen Magazine and similar magazines, however, the best style you can wear is one that is original and comfortable.

When I started high school, I also wanted to know about cool styles and clothes. However, I discovered that the coolest style I could wear is confidence. I highly recommend choosing clothes that you are comfortable wearing and can afford, so that you will feel happy and confident.I am starting high school in a couple of months and want to know about cool styles in clothes and makeup. Help?
Cool styles for clothes and makeup all depends on yourself.

There are many different styles including:

Preppy

Punk

Edgy

Girly

Sporty

To accomplish the ';preppy'; style, you should:

-Try to be bubbly and outgoing all the time

-Wear polos, sweaters, blazers, khaki pants, bermuda shorts, skirts (not jean), dresses, pearls, ballet flats, silky headbands, and small handbags.

-Be clean all the time! Shower everyday, wash your face everyday, brush your teeth everyday, brush your hair everyday!

-Wear a light perfume.

To accomplish the ';punk'; style you should:

-Wear lots of clothes from hot topic

-Skulls are great!

-studded belts

-be kind of tomboy ish

-make your hair choppy

To accomplish the ';edgy'; style you should:

-Wear lots of black

-studs

-chokers

-be tough but not in a ';im going to beat you up'; type of way

-choppy hair

-skulls

To accomplish the ';girly'; style you should:

-Wear things with sequins and polka dots and stuff

-Wear bright clothing

-Ballet flats, heels and flip flops are great

-Like if someone is splashing in the pool, you should be on your floatie and be like ';DUDE!'; or something like that

-Wear cute bright bathing suits

-Have a good posture

-Be neat and clean

-Stay healthy

-Wear natural makeup

To accomplish the ';sporty'; style you should:

-wear abercrombie, hollister, aeropostale shirts with like adidas shorts which is actually really cute. (when i say shirts, i mean the ones that say things like ';ABERCROMBIE'; accroosss the front)

-try out for sports!

-like wear your soccer shirt to school!

I hope I helped

For a natural look: 1. Apply Cream shadow 2. Apply medium brown shadow until crease, blend well. 3. Apply dark brown shadow up until crease, blend well. 4. Apply Dark Brown Eyeliner. 5. Apply Dark brown Mascara. 6. Apply Bronzer

For a Grey look: 1. Apply Light Grey Shadow all over eye. 2. Apply Grey Shadow up until crease, (blend well). 3. Apply Dark Grey Shadow up until crease mix well. 4. Apply Jet Black Eyeliner. 5. Apply Jet Black Mascara. 6. Use a red gloss for lips

Clothes: You can go surfer, shop at Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch

You can go emo shop at, Hot Topic, Zumiez, Pac Sun. You can go laid back shop at American Eagle and Ruehl. Those are the styles now, and for shoes use converse those are a must have! For sandals flip Flops are always in and egyptian sandals are really in! Hope I Helped!
the new look is freshh.(:

don't pile on make-up.

your necessities: base and powder, bronzer, eyeliner(not liquid!), mascara.

1st: apply base. mainly put on areas that have discoloration. focuss on cheek bones, and under the eyes. (don't put too much on or you'll look fake.)

2: apply powder. very lightly apply powder to the areas that get oily. this will provide a fresh, soft look for your face.(: (again, not too much. if you apply too much, it'll cause a caky look)

3: apply bronzer. powder bronzers work best. very lighty apply a light bronzer(depending on skin tone) to cheek bones. this will create a perfect suntanned look.

4: apply eyeliner. not too THiCK!! apply thin line to lower space between the lower lid, and the eyeball. also to the space between upper lid and eyeball. this may feel uncomfortable if your not use to eyeliner, but your eyes will adjust.(:

5: apply mascara. the best way to put on mascara FOR THE TOP is to take the brush, start at the roots of your lashes, wiggle the brush left to right(this gets all the eyelashes between the bristles.) and then pull out. FOR THE BOTTOM just touch the eyelashes with the brush. you don't want the bottom to over-extend the top.(:

let me know if you want to know of the best brands for the best prices.(:
I thought the same thing going into high school for my first year...Nothing is different from JHS. The older kids just look like the take stroerds (There hugh) Be yourself. But if your just looking for a way to be different I wont lie to you Emo and Goth seem to be in (Skinny jeans and weird outfits). Now I wont lie, I own mostly skinny jeans but I didn't change my style going into high school.
I'm not a girl so i wouldnt know about makeup and all but the coolest style is your own style, be u,come up with your own unique style and whatever u do dont try to be different because if u try to be different you end up being the same because everyone wants to be different
buy seventeen magazine , i think that will help more than anything i could tell you . you can probably find it at the grocery store
I agree with the first answer in being yourself. Find something you think is cute, something comfortable, something that flatters your body type. Don't go with trends they are stupid
Just be your self. Dress like you feel, but be appropiate. Dont wear to much make up because thats just over doing things. Wear like mascara or lip gloss.
just be yourself...dont get caught up with putting on a mask...it will only take away from your high school experience

What are some tips for a more natural look for a teen girl who doesnt know a lot about makeup and stuff? HELP!

I have espresso colored brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. They are really small however I have thicker lashes so that takes care of the eyeliner thing (I think?!) My lips are small and I have recently gotten contacts but otherwise I wear dark glasses (plastic ones that are dark with rhinestones on the sides). I have what I think is a large nose and a chubby face. I want to accomplish a FAST and EASY natural look that doesnt look like I am a slut and I want to wear some makeup. My complexion is more fair but it is a bit blotchy. What are some good tips and brands that would work for me. I'd really appreciate this. 10 pts awarded to best answer. ThanksWhat are some tips for a more natural look for a teen girl who doesnt know a lot about makeup and stuff? HELP!
You don't need alot of make-up...You will find out most guys doesn't like a girl to wear alot at all...All you need is a press power and put it on lightly on your face...One that would be great on you, Would be cover girl soft honey...This would put alittle color in your face and still have a natural look...You can get this brand at wal-mart at less cost...Try it and see how it will make you look...

ClowmyWhat are some tips for a more natural look for a teen girl who doesnt know a lot about makeup and stuff? HELP!
I remember my teen years as well, so here are a few tips

eyes : try kohl black / or even green , and a thin line of eyeliner.

wear mascara when you are going out.

lips : chap stick or gloss

For your face you could use a foundation yssome times ,but a nioce scrubbed clean look goes well with teens alwa
pale or light lipgloss and wear your hair down more and when you wear your glasses put on a dark shade of eyeshadow like green or blue to bring out your eyes and really light lipgloss to show off your skintone more

happy to answer...
Put some liquid powder, some black or brown mascara and your favorite shadow (if you don't have one try brown, pink, green(but you have to wear something green with it) or peach) and lip gloss. It can be neutral, with shine, pink or peach.I recommend Avon if you can get it, or Miss Sporty.
i would suggest checking out neutrogena's line of cosmetics. everything they put out is designed to look natural and flattering on any skin tone. all of their foundations are made for teen skin with problems like blotchy skin or breakouts, and won't clog your pores! they have these creme eye shadows called soothing eye tints that come in two very natural shades that you can wear alone to give a great, clean, bronzed look or under any other eyeshadow to prevent creasing and make the shadow last all day.

the key is to use your makeup to bring out your features, not cover them up! you have the right idea by not wanting to wear much, but you do want to polish yourself up a bit, and that's great. seriously though, check out neutrogena. that's all i use!

hope all goes well! good luck!
Try Bare Escentuals make0up. You can't lose!
use a good powder that is almost similar to the color of your skin. check if it's hypoallegenic. it is still best to use a mascara even if you think you have a good eyelashes. you can try those mascara that makes your lashes longer since you said it's already thick. never leave without a lip gloss or lip balm. if you are uncomfortable in using a lipstick you can use those instead and look for a color that is not too dark or too light. orangy or pinkish are the best colors. also try putting some blush on. it depends on your cheeks actually. you can use a reddish-brownish color of blush on for a complete full effect.
go to seventeen.com they even have some step by step videos.good luck
well in my opinion, if you have small eyes, you need to open them up with a thin layer of black eyeliner on top and bottom (starting from the outside and stopping before the crease thing (just dont apply it on the entire lid)... then use a shimmery gold shadow or pink, i think that color looks good on anyone... then use mascara... (cover girl super lash) that's what i use and i love it.... try origins concealer make up... its all natural and blinds in really good and it covers blotches... i love it... then add Little blush to your cheeks and some pink/clear lip gloss... that's pretty much how i wear my make up and its not slutty or anything.... good luck!!! have have fun with makeup...
I would advise you to go to a department store with a MAC counter and get them to do your makeup (its free, but they'd be happy if you buy something). Everyone who works at MAC has to be a licensed makeup artist. My friend went there, told them she didn't want complicated, she rarely wore makeup and she wanted a natural look. When they were done she looked absolutely stunning - like her but amazing! Totally fresh. The makeup artist taught her how to do everything while she was applying it. My friend bought a couple things and has used them ever since and redid the look without any problem.
black liner will only make your eyes look smaller. white powder dusted lightly around the eye will open them up. then use black or blk/brown mascara. Also if you think you can arch your eyebrows with a tweezers, that will widen the eye. be careful not to over tweeze!! otherwise maybe just a little bronzer on your T and some clear gloss on your lips. If you wanna keep it natural avoid eye shadow and blush, too much margin for error.
Be simple. All you need is a little color. Use a good coverage foundation and some bronzer...apply it in the ';T'; of your face...down your nose and across your cheeks and maybe a little bit on forehead and chin. This will help with the roundness and nose problem.

Use a slightly shimmery or matte eyeshadow on lids and in crease, neutral colors. You would be surprised how much it will add. Don't forget to highlight your brows...choose a lighter color and apply above shadow and underneath your brow.

Use a black mascara, which helps brown eyes stand out. A brown or blue mascara would wash out the color...I know...I have brown eyes.

Definitely play with some bronzer and neutral colors...you will be able to tell what YOU like best.
I always like to experiment with new make up before I go out with it. If you skin is clear (no spots) and only a little blotchy I would suggest a sheer tint or tinted moisturiser. If you have thick lashes that are dark you can use a clear mascara to make them more noticeable and glossy. Also an eyelash curler could be better for you. Eyebrows are also important as they frame your face. I have glasses and your eyebrows are so important when it comes to 'opening up your eye area'. Go to a salon and talk to the therapist about what shape is best for you. Some people suggest a white eyeliner on the inner side of your eyelashes to open up small eyes. I have tried this and I can't see the difference, but check it out anyway in case it works for you.

Other than that, if you want a basic, natural look I would just put on some light peachy blusher on the apples of your cheeky and a neutral lipstick. I think for your skin colour (by the sounds of it) I would suggest a sheer grape or peach colour, like a gloss. Nothing heavy or creamy, especially is you have small lips (like me). Gloss always makes your lips look bigger because they reflect light. If you want eye colour, I suggest greens or pinks for brown eyes (for going out I suggest some metallic gold!!), so you don't look too bland. Don't resort to browns!! For 'chubby' cheeks I would use a bronzer just below your blusher to slightly darken your cheeks and make them seem a little slimmer - use very sparingly!! You can use this around your jaw line as well - but this is getting a little more complicated.

Brands can differ depending on whether you have sensitive skin or allergies, also if you have a philosophy like no animal testing or organic products. I love Bobbi Brown, Mac and Nars for colours. I use Bourgeois' matt foundation. But for a tint, I would suggest Benefit or Mac. But really - everyone is always looking for the best look for them, just keep experimenting till you are happy with the products and look you want. As you get better at applying your make up it will be faster to do without mistakes.

Quick makeup powder help and tips?

I have brown hair and brown eyes. I normally wear liquid foundation, but I'm getting tired of wearing it. I want to try powder. I've heard I need a moisturizer, primer, and then the powder. Is this right? What are some cheap, but great brands for each of these three items? Also, what is the difference between matte, loose, and all those different kinds of powders %26amp; what do you recommend? I really need to know and I really need some tips on all of this. I want a clear, fresh, glistening, natural looking face. Thank you so much!Quick makeup powder help and tips?

    Well here's some tips...

-Blush: powder one is the best for me so i'd use that and a applicator brush; when applying, smile and put the blush on the little round circles on your cheeks and toward the back of your face; make it light but noticeable

-Eyeliner: apply right under your eye very thinly and if wanted, some above your eye right above your eyelashes very thinly as well...

-Mascara: use the brush under your lashes and move in an upward motion

-Eye Shadow: pick your color(s) and get a applicator brush especially for eye shadow and and apply the darker color between the lashes and crease and the lighter color above that until the end of your eyeball

    Hope this helps!

How to make your eyes appear larger? MAKEUP HELP.?

I am of Asian descent and I find that even though my eyes are considered to be quite large that they could do with some help in that category. Step-by-step, SPECIFIC directions would be helpful. Also, suggestions for AFFORDABLE product names and brands used in the process would be great. How to make your eyes appear larger? MAKEUP HELP.?
I'm asian too and my eyes are pretty big. I'm going to be pretty brief on what I say because I think everyone's eyes are different and that not the same make up might look good on everyone. So what I would suggest is for you to do your part in experimenting colors that matches your skin tone and I'll do mines explaining on how to make your eyes appear bigger.

I would suggest for you to opt for light colors rather than dark colors because dark colors have a tendency to make eyes appear smaller. Shimmery colors are fine too. Here is one technique I always show people if they are looking for ways to have bigger eyes without a lot of make up. A little will go along way so this look can be worn for everyday.

First, you will need a white frosty or grey shimmer eye pencil. I usually just use a shimmery eye shadow from a palette because it's more convienent. I take a sponge applicator and puto some eye shadow on the sponger and apply it to the inner corner of my eyes, also known as tear ducts. If you want you can also put a little bit of eye shadow on top of the lids. After that, apply to coats of mascara. If you really want to make your eyes pop, use a black eye liner pencil and draw a line on top of the lids, but never on the bottom lashes ..because it will make your eyes smaller. I purchased this loose eye shadow called NYC found at Walgreens or Rite aid for about $3 depending where you live. Mascara runs about $4, I use Maybelline in the green and pink tube. How to make your eyes appear larger? MAKEUP HELP.?
I have been experimenting with this myself, and I've found that applying some brown eyeliner to the upper lid helps. To make this look more natural, you can smudge it with the smudging tool that sometimes is included with the eyeliner stick, or simply use your little finger. In turn, this gives the effect of larger eyes. You can usually find the items you need at Target. I personally like the brown ';Palladio herbal eye liner'; found there. Hope this helps! :)

You can get the same colours or like ones in any makeup line.
    white eyeliner on waterline

frosty white eyeshadow on your eyelids

    mascara
    im asian too[:

i suggest the Revlon ColorStay eyeliner it's waterproof so it won't run half way down your face by the end of the day since i wear contacts

eyeliner is meant to define your eyes and some say it makes it smaller ? that's why you should be careful with it

i usually curl my eyelashes then apply mascara, wait for it to dry then curl them again since us asians are known to have stick straight lashes
line your water line with a white eyeliner like rimmel soft kohl kajal eyeliner in white. (the waterline is the skin between your bottom lashes and your actual eye)

apply a light eyeshadow to the inner corner of your eyes (blend this lots to avoid it looking obvious and strange.)

it you want to wear black liner only line you lash lines, make sure you apply the liner thinly and don't join it at the inner or outer corners.

apply a lengthening mascara to your lashes. like maybelline lash stiletto or define a lash (in the green tube)

hey there, why dont you try a concealer under your foundation so the concealer covers the blemishes and is really small and easy to apply throughout the day. it would be best to use one with tea tree oil in it, so it actually 'kills' the blemishes whilst it conceals them. just rub and pat the concealer on, and then apply your foundation as usual and this should help lots.

Go to a department store and ask a consultant .

Tell her of your problems and let her recommend one. They will give you a generous sample which you can take home and try if you don't get on with it then take it back and tell them why keep going until you do find one that suits. They have loads of different types to suit all skin colours, agesetc.

Paying a bit more for a decent foundation that you wear on your face every day should be high on your list, try estee lauder.
I first use Maybelline New York pure.concealer to cover up my blemishes and i use clinique almost makeup for my foundation then i pour a little on the back of my hand then i dip a little bit of it with huge blush brush and apply it on my face. The foundation i use doesn't look like you have any foundation on just a heathly shine and it doesn't give you a dreaded cake face!
well, you have tried mousse and powder, so wy dont you try a liquid? maybelline shine free is good, it covers all my blemishes, and apply with a cosmetic sponge, it shouldnt be streaky then .

go in boots and try on lots of different types of foundation on your arms etc and write on them what one tey are, then a our later see which is the best and go and buy it!
the matte mousse stuff is gross, my friend uses it.

you could try the one where you can change the skin tone to different ones, i forget the name.

    it's by covergirl i believe.

it covers blemishs, it doesn't streak or irritate the skin.

    it's really good stuff.

There are many products available to put on before make up that make it last longer and look more natural --they are called primers. Most make up brands such as NARS and MAC make them. If you go to Sephora and ask for a make up primer they will give you an array of choices.

Start with mark.'s FOR GOODNESS FACE ($15). It is an antioxidant skin moisturizer with SPF 30.

I used C-thru-U, which is a very sheer coverage liquid foundation, with SPF 15.

Then I top it all off with Mist Opportunity. It is a multi-tasking refresher that works perfect to set your makeup, and also refresh during the day. At only $8, it is well worth it. It gives your makeup great staying power.

don't wear a lot of concealer and a lot of foundation. that's what makes everything really oily and it will make you feel like stuffs coming off. try to keep it to a minimum in that sense. wear eye makeup and thats fine, try to find things that are waterproof, because then they won't sweat off with humidity

i use this when i dance (i dance a lot!) and waterproof mascara and lipbalm. hope i hlpd :]
Via eyeliner, I make sure that its waterproof.

if for some reason you're going all out, eyeshadow and such always stays better if you put on foundation underneath.

  • How I get simple look with help of makeup?

what u do for simple look? Which look natural but beautiful. How I get simple look with help of makeup?
Light foundation, a bit of concealer where needed, light mascara and a bit of blusher. How I get simple look with help of makeup?
Foundation that goes with your skin tone. And reallt hin eyeliner no eyeshadow or anything else. I use it for School and it looks fine. (o: x
all i use is foundation lightly and black eyeliner and then mascara..i think too much more than that and you look skanky..sorry girls..eye shaddow looks alright too, just don't go overboard
Use bronzer for your entire face, then if you want to use eyeliner, use brown or grey and then brown shadows. It'll offer a natural highlighting shade rather than something obvious. Then use a thin coat of mascara and some natural lipgloss and you have your completed, natural look.
well i would put a very light eyeshadow, along with foundation, powder and a very light blush, put a very mild lip gloss on. Hope this helps Don't put mascara on though it won't look as natural in affect as simple, and if u do use mascara use VERY LITTLE
try avon's bronzing collection. it works wonders for most people! i use it all the time and its so quick and easy and it gives you a beautiful bronzed (but natural) look for the summer.good luck.
If you want natural look and not too made-up, choose a soft blush colour and a neutral looking lip gloss...such as a nude or light pink colour. If you're not into eye shadow, just sweep your blush brush over your eyes to add a little colour.
Lightly apply your skin tone makeup. Light colors
Powder foundation (if you need it), blush, mascara and lip gloss. Good luck!
put a dab of blush some foundation mascara and youre good to go:)
concealer if u need it to cover up them blemishes, a light foundation to give a nice light even coverage, i recomend bourjous 10 hr sleep effect if u dont want anything 2 pricey, a pink blush to give a lovely hint of colour, a black mascara 9 black always looks best, even with pale complexions and blonde hair) n i think u'll b gd 2 go!!!!!!!!!! hope dat helps x oh a pressed powder aswell to help ur foundation last longer, but its not nessecary!
use a tinted foundation and rosy blush and gold eye shadow it will just make you look like a natural beauty
I would suggest you stay away from foundation make-up and heavy or dark lipstick or eye make-up.

u add light colors to ur face...like a very natural fonditation that match ur face, also a light blush, n the same color as ur eyes for eye shadow, n lipstick if u want but that should b light also

    well, good luck.... *smiles*
~Try a light foundation, followed by a bit of blush, clear mascara, %26amp; lip gloss (clear, or w/ a sheer tint of color) for a perfect natural look!!!
Apply a tinted moisturiser or light foundation.

    Lightly dust with powder.

Apply bronzer to cheekbones / or blusher.

Skin toned eyeshadow ( if wanted)

Coat of brown or clear mascara.

    Lip balm or clear gloss.
to get the simple lookl that i go for: 1st i apply a light coat of foundation, i use a pastel color of eyeshadow, a simple coat of mascara on my lashes, a small amount of loose powder and then a light pinkish or skin tone like color of lipstick if i even wear any. thats all i do. but sometimes i wear eyeliner, but i make it very thin on my upper lids only.

xoxoMy friends say i wear to much eye makeup help?
try using more neutral colors and no eye liner. try looking at forums on make up applications at SPECKTRA.NET. they've helped me a lot.My friends say i wear to much eye makeup help?
umm i dont know post a pic and i will tell you . but they prolly are just joking or somthing if not they are mean get new friends
same here!! but not exactly my friends. just my parents say that i put too much on! IT BUGS ME! it's my eyes god! and some other people tell me that my eyes look like a raccon cause i put so much on.. well not that but some people told my friend that. she puts ';alot'; on too. i think people should put on makeup however it makes them feel happy
The smokey eye is all about blending. Start out by lining your top and bottom lids with a color of choice, maybe charcoal would be good to start off with. Then take a charcoal shadow, not to dark and apply on lid starting with the liner you already put on your lid all the way up till the crease of the eye. Then you could also add another shade a bit darker grey or charcoal on the outer corner of you eyes all the while blending so it looks softer not to heavy. Lastly, make sure to put on some highlighter on the brow bone, curl lashes and finish with black mascara.
A brown or other lighter colored eye liner might be a better choice for you than a black colored one. Also, as previously stated applying the eyeliner near to the eyelashes roots is KEY! Your make-up should enhance your nautural beauty, not transform you into another person.
    your friends are mean.
A picture would be able to help us help you alot better.

Use black eyeliner still, make it simple or make it hott

    Hott:

    http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r102/鈥?/a>

Simple is simple obviously just black eyeliner along the bottom and a thin line on top with some mascara that's all you need.

Hott, you have to get even or it looks like crap,

I don't use shadow I use 20 different color eyeliners.

Pick a color and put it on thick on top and point it out on the sides, sorta like ancient Egyptians use to do, do the same with the black on the bottom and meet the black with the color on top at the corner sticking out and blend,

    Then put on some mascara

    Good to go. =]
so what if you wear to much eye makeup...here

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=Eq1WZJilw2s
Stick to neutral colors during the day (brown, taupe, gray). If you do want to use color, use sheer shades, and no frosty or sparkly kinds. Use one or two colors max, the colors should complement each other. Stick to brown, gray or black eyeliner. Use a sharpened pencil or automatic liner. Rim the outer 2/3 of your upper lashes, smudging pencil as close to lashes as possible. If you like do the same on the outer 1/3 of bottom lashes. To soften, run a qtip over the line to smudge slightly. Follow with 2 coats of black mascara.

For nighttime/going out, you can be a little more heavy handed. For smokey eyes, use dark brown, dark gray, navy, plum, or emerald shadows. Pencils or creams can be too harsh. Apply shadow to lid with a soft brush so it will be sheer. Then use a short, stiff shadow brush or sponge applicator to apply the same dark shadow along the lash lines for the dramatic smokey effect without being overdone. If you like a little more definition, use a super pointed eyeliner pencil and line the inner rims of eyes and inside lashes. Follow with two coats of volumizing mascara. Another tip is to use a shadow that matches your eyebrows or a bit darker, and fill in brows. This makes brows/eyes more dramatic without having to put too much on. Voila! Practice makes perfect! And remember to always keep the rest of your face minimal to avoid the hooker look.

Some items to try (for night: Loreal Voluminous Mascara, Loreal Voluminous Felt Tip Liner, Mark Femme 4 eyeshadow quad, Rimmel Eyeshadow in Dusk, Rimmel Exxagerate eyeliner in black or gray, etc.) For Day (Revlon colorstay quad in Coffee Bean, Rimmel Eyeliner in sable, Rimmel Lycra Lash Mascara)

The only way to do it is too experiment. Find out what works best for you!
i try putting on eyeliner so nobody will notice...

put the eyeliner where the roots of ur eyelashes are

I need help with makeup in general, any tips?

So i am a guy, and I am in drama class, and i have been in a few performances on stage. Usually I can get a girl to help me with my makeup, but I want to know how to do it myself. I don't need to look fancy, all i need is foundation, lips, and eyeliner, but I am totally inept at all of them. So I would like some advice on those things, especially eyeliner, because then I can do it myself and not spend twenty minutes trying to convince someone to do it for me.

Much appreciated!I need help with makeup in general, any tips?
foundation is pretty easy to apply, the hardest part is finding the right color. make sure when you put it on that you blend it into your jawline, otherwise you get ugly lines. eyeliner: make sure your pencil has a good point, keep it at an angle parallel to your lash line. put it on like a dashed line ----- then run your pinky across it to blend it so it doesn't look like a line, but you'll still be able to see your eyes.

practice, you'll find out what works for you.

Never have worn Makeup. Need help, where to start?

I never have worn makeup. I have no clue wear to start. LIke the part im confused is the powder and liquid stuff for the face. do you wear them together i dont know. I just need help. I know i should know this stuff but i grew up with just guys and yeah. so help.Never have worn Makeup. Need help, where to start?
The ';liquid stuff'; is foundation, and you only need that if your skin is really bad. Its not very good for your skin anyway, so you could just skip that part. Start with easy makeup for now, like concealer and mascara. You dab concealer onto blemishes and flaws in your skin and smudge it in to give you a smoother finish. Then mascara for your eyelashes :) Maybe experiment with the more complicated makeup when you're familiar with the basics?Never have worn Makeup. Need help, where to start?
start with lips. then move on to eyes. cheeks last.
    the liquid stuff is foundation.

you have to buy the correct things first, so how about taking along a friend who wears make up with you to buy everything.

you have to have a sponge for the foundation and and rush for the powder.

you put the foundation on first, preferably after a light layer of moisturizer and rub it in making sure there are no obvious lines and then add the powder to finish it off.

    hope it helps

    x
ok first of all you need a foundation (well you don't NEED it, some girls look ok without it) but if you have red spots or uneven skin on your face then foundation is good for evening it out. Try to get one that matches your skintone, if it's too dark you'll get that dreaded line around the bottom of your face, and if it's too light you'll look like a ghost. Foundation comes in different kinds, there's liquid, or mousse, or powdered foundation. Experiment with different kinds, but I've found the liquid kind in the bottle is just as good, and way cheaper. I use Covergirl, but Maybelline makes some good ones too. If you have sensitive skin they come in fragrance free. Put a little foundation in the palm of your hand and spread some on your cheeks, on your nose, on your forehead, basically everywhere and rub it in. What I usually do next is use blush because it sticks to the liquid better and lasts longer. I use a powder blush but again, they come in different kinds, stick, cream, powder whatever. I like the powder. I have even used lipstick when I'm out, just blend it really good. Then you can choose to use powder or not, sometimes I do. It will make your blush and foundation last longer. There's compact powder or loose. I use the compact because it lasts way longer. Then you work on your eyes. I usually put a little eyeshadow on first then my eyeliner on top of that because if you put eyeliner on first then your eyeshadow covers it up (which is sometimes helpful if you make a mistake) eyeliners come in pencil or liquid. I like the liquid kind because it's easier to put on, but it can get smeary if you rub your eyes anytime during the day. Then I put mascara on. Then a little tinted gloss, but if I'm going out for the night I put on lipstick. I have had really bad luck with finding a lipstick that stays on longer than about an hour. I don't want to give $10 to try a lipstick so some of the more expensive kinds probably last longer than what I use. Just buy the cheap stuff to experiment with, until you find the shades and types that you like. Have fun, it's great being a girly girl.

I would suggest that you go to a make-up counter in a department store. I like Clinique, but any would be able to help you. Every woman is unique in what she needs. Some don't even need foundation. The women at the counter can also help you choose colors and lines that work well with your skin type. My mom didn't wear much make-up when I was growing up and it was the '80's so I made a lot of crazy mistakes. Unfortunately there are pictures to show for it! I definitely plan to take my daughter to the make-up counter when the time comes. Professional advice is always best! :-)
Usually there are directions on makeup products, but lipstick that comes in a tube is meant for coloring your lips, eyeshadow is a powder than can be loose or compressed and it goes on your eyelids, and blush is usually pink to burgundy and goes on your cheeks. Mascara comes in a small tube and you put it on your eyelashes and eyeliner can come in a tube with liquid or as a pencil and goes on the edge of your eyelids. I hope this helps.
    Hi Ham and Jelly,

I would personally start with mascara on the lashes and mucking about with eyeliner. Black is pretty safe, but you might like brown or midnight blue looks good too. Use cotton/ear buds (the ones on the sticks) to wipe away any smudges - use a little dab of makeup remover on the end if you make a bit of a mess.

With concealer it depends on what kind of look you want really. I use a liquid concealer and use only a tiny bit of powder on my nose and forehead and maybe cheeks so they dont look to shiny. You might decide you like the dewy shiny look wearing liquid only - i go through stages sometimes of only wearing powder when my skin is in good condition because it is light. There is a great powder out now called mineral powders....its like a liquid and powder in one i think. Thats great stuff....

But more important than those things....the most important thing with liquid %26amp; powder make up is this : .....The COLOR.

What ever you do, try before you buy. Try some of the makeup on the back of your hand to see if it is the right color. You cant ever find 100% match, just go with the closest one. But too light and you will look sick and pale, too dark and you will look not right.

The other important thing is to learn how to blend it. Don't just whack it on there with fingers, use a little make up sponge, ask the shop keeper where they are (should be near the makeup). Dab a little water on it first, then blend your concealer on with it. Put the make up on the sponge and go for it, make sure you go down your neck some, so it doesn't look like you are wearing a mask.

Liquid foundation (concealer) is a funny thing too, it might take you a while to find a brand that suits you. Some crack up after a few hours, some just don't gel with your skin type.

I would suggest seeing if you have a local Avon lady (call the company and ask). Ask her to give you some concealer samples to try out then choose one...she can give you lippy samples as well, and the prices are on the lower end too but really good quality I think. Even if you only buy yourself one new make up thing a month, you will have a great kit by the end of the year....

Hope this helps you ham and jelly, good luck. :-)
you should probably start off little.

Don't put so much make up at once, its a big change.

Try starting off with light eyeshadow and lip gloss

And you can also try wearing blush.

Tip: Try going to a mall where people can help you with applying makeup!
no you either choose powder or liquid. dont put both. liquid is nasty so dont even go for that. powder works but i prefer bare minerals or mineral powder a little more expensive but worth it. It looks so much more natural.

First, apply some concealer under your eyes or wherever there are dark areas. Apply your powder lightly all over your face and neck. Your goal is to look natural so don't forget not to go overboard.

Now, add some blush to the apple of your cheeks very slightly. Apply lipgloss or lipstick. I prefer lipgloss, it looks more natural and cuter. That should be your daily makeup.

For special occassions you would want to apply eyeshadow and eyeliner.

Next, curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. Apply mascara only on the top eyelashes.
    yes

liquid then powder then eyeshawdow then mascrea then curl eyelashes w curler then lip gloss!
i never use foundation it makes spots worse! if thats what u mean by the powder and stuff.. i honestly dont know much but its best to use less make up if you dont know how to put it on :) decide what style you want, like do you want it to look natrual.....ish :D or are you gunna wear loads of black eyeshadow, i would start by trying a bit of lip balm and mascara and maybe experiment with eyeliner and eyeshadow, if u have no makeup ask your friends if you can borrow some have fun and dont worry its only makeup :)
Yea i can understand how you need a little grl advice.well i can help.If your just starting to wear makeup then you probably shouldn't worry about foundation(the powder and liquid stuff lol)UM ....well for your eyes you should wear light eyeshadow like light green, pink, blue,or maby purple. If you want a more natural color go with light brown(not gold)You should wear black mascara. It will help highlight your eyes.to help your eyes stand out go with coco eyeliner.I know that eyeliner may be hard to get used to but eventually it will just be part of your routine. Now for your lips settle for a light pink lip gloss.Don't use lipstick because that's for old Lady's.lolxd

Note:I would go for more natural colors because if your just starting to wear makeup then the natural colors will help bring out your natural butty.People wont notice that your wearing make up and the best part is that you'll look Beautiful.

    I hope this helps

    GoOd LuCk
Well...as far as the face thing, I don't think you're supposed to wear them together, although personally I always use liquid, never powder.

Personally, I think I started out with lip gloss, and then started wearing eyeshadow, and then I started using liquid foundation and concealer and stuff. Now I just use eyeliner and mascara with a bit of concealer, though.
    go to everydayminerals.com

their makeup is cheaper than barminerals and is actually good for your skin plus they have looks of things to choose from. trust me, if you've never worn makeup, you do not want to start out using something full of chemicals that will clog your pores and ruin your skin. plz take my advice!
i just wear black eyeliner and black masscara and then sumtimes eyeshadow with lipgloss simple but it makes ur eyes stand out all pretty and what not.

    Makeup...HELP!!!?

i am going to a melbourne cup function and i have no idea how to wear my hair or what my makeup should look like. i am 15 and am tall, with hair just past my soulders (light brown) and i am not very tanned (but not really white). this is the dress i am wearing

    http://bardot.com.au/online/uploaded/col鈥?/a>

the dress is a bit lighter than what it look like in the picture, with a silver clutch bag and silver strappy shoes. i need some ideas of how i can wear my hair (it's fairly wavy, but i can straighten it or curl it....not sure which though) and how i should do my makeup. i hope it's not too confusing and please help me....thanks in advance :)Makeup...HELP!!!?
As the dress is quite light colored in itself (and it is fall...), I would recommend a darker makeup. Start with a clean, toned, and freshly moisturized face. Use foundation or concealer to even out your skin tone and conceal your problem areas (if any)- set with translucent loose powder. Line your eyes with black eyeliner and place a dark colored eyeshadow in your crease to define your eyes: go for dark brown or gray. A light purple or soft pink eyeshadow on the lid (neutral would look good as well). Place a highlighter on the inner corners of your eyes and underneath the browbone to brighten them up. Mascara on top lashes will give you a doe-eyed look. If you want to wear a darker lip color (like the model) go for something with plum undertones- purple is hot this fall, but you don't want to overdo it (especially with that gorgeous dress) so opt for a softer pink-plum shade instead. Or if you applied eye-makeup on the heavier side, go with neutral lips instead- not the summer nude! The ';I've just eaten strawberries, don't my lips look gorgeously pink'; nude. Finish up with a touch of blush- natural cheeks are in this fall, so don't go too overboard. Try something in a soft natural pink-mauve color (look at Lola powder blush in Nibble- it's a perfect fall color for fair-skinned individuals). You can apply everything with a light hand for a more wearable day look or go slightly heavy-handed for evening/night look! And for hair, I would recommend straightening it. Hope this helps and have fun :)Makeup...HELP!!!?
The dress is gorgeous and the look is kind of mod so I would go with straightened hair, dark lips and foundation and mascara only. I like your style.
Something ';up'; but ';funky'; like/sexy even. Try these...

Analyze your skin to see what type of skin you have: oily, combination, normal, dry, etc. Many cosmetic counters have someone there that can do a preliminary analysis of your skin, and recommend some products. If you are on a budget, see what the professional at the cosmetic counter recommends, then go to your local drug store and find a similar product for way less money!

Start with a freshly-washed face (and hands, too). Get a facial, or do one yourself. You want your face to be a clear and smooth canvas for you, the ';artist,'; to do your art. Use a good deep-cleansing mask. Do not exfoliate if you have oily or sensitive skin. It will spread bacteria around your face from the already existing blemishes. Use antibacterial soap if you have acne. Also be sure that you replace the towel you use to dry your face every week. Lastly, apply toner by taking a cotton pad that has been dampened in warm water and sweep it over your face. Toner will restore the pH level of your skin and pick up any remaining dirt.

Massage a light moisturizer into your face no matter what type skin you have, avoiding the eye area! This will help oily skin dry, and dry skin become smoother. Wait a few minutes for it to soak into your skin. After letting it sit for a while, rinse face with warm water, and pat dry.

Apply a sheer foundation that matches your skin tone.

To find the right one, go to the makeup counter at a local department store and have the artist there help you.

Wear illuminator to make your skin appear youthful and dewy compared with dull, matte makeup. Skin illuminators come in powder, cream, mousse, etc. L'Or茅al, Revlon, Neutrogena, and other brands make them - it's like make up with tiny particles that reflect light.

Use a makeup sponge or wedge, starting around the hairline and working your way down. (Use the wedge for this routine because you can be more precise about where the make up goes.) If you want a proper look that looks as if it has been done by a professional makeup artist, try using a foundation brush.

Remember to apply the makeup all the way down to your throat area and keep blending so you can't see where the make up ends. Nothing is worse than looking like you have a mask on your face!

Around the eye area, do very light strokes inward, toward the inner corner of your eye. Don't apply it to your upper eyelid! All of the professional makeup artists say not to apply foundation to this area. This is why you need a foundation that matches your skin. If you want foundation to darken your skin then try putting it above your eyes, and see what you like. Be gentle with this part, because the skin is very delicate and sensitive here.

Remember to blend all the makeup into your hairline. (but not so that your hair is another color!)

Apply concealer to any red or discolored spots. In the corners of your eyes, where it's blue, and around the nostrils are good places for this. Do this after applying foundation, so you don't use too much (many makeup artists do this the other way around). First apply the concealer, then pat very lightly with your finger to blend. Only apply concealer to the area that you want to conceal. Afterwards, use the wedge to blend the concealer in with the foundation. Stand back away from your mirror to see if you have effectively concealed the areas. Try to stand about the distance away from the mirror that you stand away from people when you talk to them. Another way to conceal blemishes is to pat green concealer on the blemishes and red spots, then put foundation over top (the green reduces redness).

Apply a loose powder all over the face using a powder brush. Pat it into the powder; then, with a paper towel, tap the brush so the excess falls off the brush. Lightly brush across the whole face. Use a powder puff (small) to apply powder on the upper lid. Apply a bronzer to your forehead, cheeks, and chin, to give a sun-kissed look,if wanted.#If you don't have much cheekbones you can contour your face, to do so you will need a brown tone of powder, don't make it ultra brown, but a milk-chocolatey kind of color. Apply a it on the brush and apply it under your cheek bones, starting from the temple and going down until underneath the apple of your cheek. Don't make it too abvious as it's meant to look like a shadow, and voila! You have cheek bones!

Highlight your brow bone and cheek bones by applying a light powder just below the brow, and to the highest part of your cheek.

Apply a small amount of blush to the apples of your cheeks. Smile so you can see the apple of your cheek. Start the application at the apple and drag the blush outward toward your temple, following your cheek bone. Blend the color down a bit below your cheekbone in towards your earlobe.

If you added too much color to the brush, use the clear side of your wedge to blend it in more until the color is faded out a bit. Your cheeks should have a hint of color. You don't want to look like a clowWhat are some good makeup/hair tips? HELP NEEDED ?
mascara: use one that enhances your lashes, depending on what you need - lengthening for short lashes, volumizing for sparse lashes, curling for straight lashes.

eyeliner: blue bring outs the whites of your eyes, black defines and dark brown defines too but gives a softer look.

what kind of performance are you having? try pulling your hair back into a bun or braiding it.
If you are on stage then try some glitter eyeliner :D

for hair I think you should just leave it like it is :)
go to youtube.com, they have plenty of makeup tutorials just type in 'makeup turtorials.'
Depending on which eye colour you have, eye shadow should be easy to apply. Grey, violet, and purple suit blue eyes, brown, apricot, purple, and plum for green eyes and copper, bronze, coffee, champagne (soft pink) brown beige, and khaki green suit brown eyes.

If you really want dramatic eyes, then get a soft brush and sweep the darker shade on the outer corners of your eyes, and the lighter shade in the inner corner, also if you have a shimmery white or pale pink, sweep that in the very inner corner of your eye, and gently on to the bottom lashes as well. A sweep of eyeliner with a subtle cat eye flick will add femininity.

I would invest in some eyelash curlers, they are cheap and make lashes extra curly. Blast them with a hair dryer to heat them up and curl for about 5-10 seconds. Apply mascara by wiggling the brush right at the base of your lashes, wiggling the wand all the way up. Then, whilst the brush is about half way done, shut your eyes tightly, this will add some extra volume. (This can be tricky depending on your mascara, keep a baby wipe or makeup remover wipe on hand in case it gets near your brows.)

Make sure skin is properly moisturized before applying foundation, you don't want it to get flaky. Also if your quite a pale girl, go for a pale foundation. Orange is a no go. You only need one or two layers of foundation, and make sure it's properly blended in with; Your eyebrows, jaw line and forehead. If you have any mineral foundation or compressed powder, brush a little bit on top of the foundation in circular motions to acheive a matt finish.

With your hair, wash it tonight, because hair that is freshly washed is harder to style. If you don't have straightners, you can also pretty much straighten your hair with a big roller brush. Section your hair after washing, and brushing up a section of hair when wet, you can achieve a straight finish by angling the hair dryer so its blowing heat downwards on your hair.

You can also look up some tutoirals on youtube!

I want to start my school year with a change, hair/makeup, help? (Pics)

I want to go back into school in September looking fresh and noticeable! I've already mastered the whole personality bit to become more outgoing, now I just need a change in my physical appearance. Possibly doing something different with my hair? Different makeup techniques, ones that can bring out my eyes?

:) I'll also be sure to answer any of your questions too!

    You're VERY pretty.

I think you should leave yourself.I want to start my school year with a change, hair/makeup, help? (Pics)
As far as make-up change goes, I LOVE to mix and match eyeshadow color schemes...For example, in my work shirt are the colors green and pink. What I did was I put a bright green shadow (Pagan by MAC) and a cranberry color in the creases and lined around my eyes with the same cranberry eyeshadow...I get soooo many compliments!
for your hair, i think you should dye a streak blonde. i think that will look really good with your skin tone...for your make-up, try a white, light blue, or light green eyeshadow with mascara, and a brown, blue or black eye liner...also try a plain shiney lip gloss. dont over-due it with a bright red or pink lip gloss...just light and suttle.

    =]

your really pretty but get rid of the white eyeshadow and the black eyeliner. get some browns and purples in eyeshadow and some espresso brown eyeliner and try that. much better. I have brown hair and brown eyes and that is how my makeup looks absolutely best.
Grow your hair out a bit.

Carmel looking highlights. Maybe a tint of red. Sounds weird but they are cute.

As for makeup. Try darker browns on the edges.

If you keep your hair dark definitely use purple!

    Lightly. Nothing halloween looking.
Don't do anything to your hair, dying it is for old ladies. You've got perfect skin keep makeup to a minimum. Just be you girl, you've already got all the beuty you need.

The first pic is absoluty stunning.
I don't think you need any makeup to bring out your eyes. You have the most beautiful brown eyes! Whatever you did with your makeup in the second picture is perfect. And for your hair, maybe add some light brown highlights.
I love your hair texture and color i would just start to grow it out a little longer!

    Your eyes are gorgeous!

Try some lip color or gloss because your lips are a little towards the nude color!
you are way to pretty to do anything just be yourself ,brush your teeth wash you face, trim your hair ,a little make up

but if you wanna look wild and crazy thats another story

    hopes this helps - chloe
    your very pretty

    i LOVE your eyes!!

wear masacra and eyeliner and your fine! :)
uhm you shouldnever try to chang ebe your self. You'll attrct someone who like you fo ryou not whoyou wan to try to be for attention =)

    dont change anything ur gorgeous
A LITTLE blush but other wise you r fine
wow your so pretty. dont change anything.

you kind of look a little like Jennifer Love Hewitt. thats a good think :]
    wow youre really pretty

dont change your fine the way you are

    :]
I know people ask these questions, and don't want these answers....

but i think you're cute the way you are already!
DONT CHANGE! do us all a favor ;)

How do you ask those people at makeup counters to help you?

do you just plop yourself up on those chairs?

or do u actuallly have to like....choose an item and ask them how it works or whatnot?

for example, what do you do at sephora? How do you ask those people at makeup counters to help you?
walk up to one and ask for assitance for example say what you want like at sephora be like i'm looking for mascara

but at a counter like at clinique or antoher one in a department store ask for a makeup evaluation. they'll do your makeup with colors and products good for you based on your coloring and other questions they ask you (skin type, time to get ready, going out look vs. everyday look etc...)How do you ask those people at makeup counters to help you?
How do you get them to leave you alone? Maybe they think I just need a lot of help. lol. Anyways,...just ask them for a demonstration of their brand. They usually are fully ready to give you the once over! Just don't get talked into 200 dollars worth of make-up.
First you have to visit the magical wizard of asking questions and be granted the power of asking people stuff. then you go ask the person. But you've obviously done that already because you just asked a question right now. So GO ASK FOR HELP!
just ask to get your make up done
Actually, if they see you looking at the products they should ask you if you need help the moment they are not busy.

What color would you call that, and what would some good eyeshadow colors be?

Pale skin, medium brown hair? What color are my eyes? Please help! + makeup tips if you have any?
Your eyes look green to me; they are actually quite similar to my own eye color. The best eyeshadow color is any shade of purple. It will make your green eyes really stand out. I use a light shade of purple all on the lid up to the brow bone, then smudge a darker shade of purple along the top and bottom lash line. I then use a white/glittery eye pen and highlight right under the brow and in the inside corners of the eye. Finish with black or brown mascara and Voila! Beautiful eyes! Be sure to experiment with all kinds of colors to find what looks best on you! What color are my eyes? Please help! + makeup tips if you have any?
greenish.... use a purple eyeshadow. also, u might wanna try some blue mascara for a fun look.

that doesnt need eyeshadow with it.

i have the same color eyes and the blue mascara looks really cool. but if ur not into that, then go with a purple color...u would have to experiment to know the exact shade. and then a black eyeliner and mascara
try some greens, like some goldpuke green and some light green but no teal, please no teal. ALso try some shades of gold gold/green eyeliner. you may be overdoing it with the purple. if you can smooth out all that purple with more blue in it, then it will look more natural. just some mary kay experience/advice enjoy!
theyre hazel. and a deep brown black or champaigne color eyeshaddow with black eyeliner would be great.
    kind of a hazelish green

    make-up tips:

    1.eyeliner

    2.a natural brown eyeshadow

3.mascara that shows but not htat much so it looks more natural

    hopes this helps
i say you have hazel eyes and i have green eyes and i dont really wear to much eyeliner i just wear shadow and mascara I think eyeliner really only works with light blondes. Its hard to tell because you cant see your hair in the picture

Swampish green, or olive, more like stormy green
    probably like a green/brown.

try caramels and dark greens for eyeshadows.
Hazel, but more on the green side than the brown eye.

Any shadow that's brown or green would make them POP!
    Hazel eyes.
kind of like an olive hazel color.

any browns or greens would make them really bright and pretty.
    brown , hazel
    greenish/yellow
    Hmm I'd say brown/hazel.
Hazle, maybe green in the sunny day
    greenish hazle

I have really fair skin, eyes that are blueish-green and I have really dark brown hair. Any tips?I want this guy to notice me and I don't know how to do my makeup. Please help?
just keep everything natural, a little bit of eyeliner mascara and and lipgloss. just be yourself and have fun really. how you look shouldn't matterI want this guy to notice me and I don't know how to do my makeup. Please help?
give your hair a make-over. it really changes how a person look =) but never change yourself for guys,
Jus because you like a guy doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to get his attention. i recomend you don't wear makeup so you can know he likes you for what you really look like rather than the makeup you wear, guys don't like ';plastic'; girls with tons of makeup anyway. If you really want to wear makeup then ask one of your friends, i'm sure they'll be able to help.
don't wear too much it scares men!!

just a little green eye shadow and a pale pink lip gloss if your in a club use a highlighter on your cheek boned and the arch of your eye brow oh and a little on your cupids bow (it makes your lips look bigger and more pouty)
U sound similair to my hair and compection, as of a few months ago i was clueless as to which make-up would have the biggest effect to help guys notice me. i use:

Dream Matte Mousse Foundation, lightly all over my face- extra around problem areas.

Eyeliner- only lightly for school though! lol

Mascara that uplifts my eyes and lengthens lashes, or u could use eyelash curlers.

if my lips are really chapped and damaged especially this time of year i use vaseline which repairs and protects making lips appear shiny and healthy, if they are in good condition i use a light coloured lip gloss or a clear one.

hope i helped you, good luck with the guys! it helped me :P lol

    get back to me xx
Hmm if the guy doesn't like you from the start and you decide to try and get his attention by slapping on make up will just make him think your trying to hard! I mean imagine if he didn't see you without foundation or mascarar or summit like dat he will think wow wot a fake!
u sound ery pretty already...just enhance a little bit....use some mascar to pop up ur eyes ...

    Makeup...help!?

Does anybody know any good tips for applying mascara and eyeliner? If so, please let me know! [: Thanks.Makeup...help!?
In magazines they always say that for eye-liner, an easy tip is to dot along the lid, and then join up the dots.Makeup...help!?
blink your mascara, on hold it in the same place and just blink, makesure its even though, and every lash has got some on

for eyeliner i find it easier to pull my eye lid to the edge of my face[not literally] then put it on
youtube the teach you how to make hot styles
well do eyeliner first and than mascara last but go on youtube cos there's good videos :)
    eyeliner:

open your eye half way and apply eyeliner with one hand.. you should look into the mirror with half opened eye along with the other way :)... may be a couple of times it might not come proper but... if you try well... u can really shape it properly

mascara: make sure you apply it upwards and curl the lashes while you apply... never re-apply as it might spoilt he originalit and make your lashes look fakey....

    good luck :)
Try puritycosmetics,co,uk. It is really good!

    Makeup Help?

I'm fair skinned, but I'm Indian. so in the summer I tend to get REALLY dark. I have dark brown hair, and light brown/orange eyes, I was wondering what kind of makeup should I use for my eyes. Any suggestions? Thanks.Makeup Help?
    orange eyes that sounds pretty.

try light browns. thats what i used to use.

    also light purple.

don't be afraid to try new colors, you can make anything look great.Makeup Help?
Any greens will make your eyes pop.

In the summer, I think it's way too hot to do eye makeup (personally). I have a pink-white shimmerry shadow Cover Girl sells in a 3-pak with a med. brown and dark brown, and before I leave the house, I sweep a little right underneath my eyebrows, a stripe on the very tops of my cheekbones, and a stripe on my collarbone. Nobody knows they're seeing eyeshadow because it's in places my skin will natually reflect light, and it makes me look dewy without a lot of weighty product.
    light pink or orange
try a green or purple color

    Makeup help?

my lishes are to thin and need help making them look longer and really nice.

what can i do to make them stand out more and look really nice, not sticky looking or a koon look just better,HELP!!!!!Makeup help?
The best mascara that i have used is the Telescopic mascara by L'oreal, It really helps lengthen your eyelashes and it has a comb applicator so it doesn't clump like other mascaras. its the only mascara i will use now and i am constantly being complemented on my lashes.

If comb mascaras arent your thing then the double mascaras with the 2 steps white application then mascara application also help make lashes longer.Makeup help?
First off, I suggest you look for products that label ';lenghtening and curling';. These are the least bit sticky and clumpy.

If you really want your lashes to pop, get a good quality metal eyelash curler. I like Tweezermans Eye Lash Curler ($10)

With your hair dryer set on low, heat your curler for about 6 seconds. Wait 5 seconds to let it cool off a bit, and apply as close to the lashline as possible, and close tightly for 10 seconds. Then release and apply mascara to set the curl. When, applying mascara, remember to ';wiggle'; the wand at the root, and to ';slowly run through'; the lashes. When you reach the very tips of your lashes, hold the wand for a few seconds to set the curl even more so. Apply 3 coats and run a lash comb at the very end to get rid of any clumps.

    hope this helps
OOooo...i just tried the Telescopic Mascara and its really good. It made my lashes look longer and more out there they were also nicely separed without all that clumpy mess.
Try fake eyelashes and two coats of black mascara.
Maybelline Volum Express. Don't do waterproof, it's horrible. Also, don't get black, thats when it looks completely fake. Get a brownish black (that's really a color). Put one coat on starting from the very base of your eyelashes going up. Dont just do the tip of your lashes, it makes them look weak. Also, I've found that Maybelline has a different type of mascara where the wand is like a comb. Works wonders for separating your lashes so they don't clump together.
Mascara. The double lash kinds from covergirl.
When you apply mascara, roll the brush outward while your eyelashes are in it. That will make them look longer. try a very thin line of pencil eye liner on the outer 3/4s of your eyelids (upper and lower) to make them look thicker and girlier.
The best mascara you can buy is on line search for Bee Luscious Cosmetics, their HD mascara is totally amazing beautiful long lashes that truly look very natural not fake or over made up and it never ever clumps or flakes off its truly the most amazing product I have used.

    Makeup help?

So i was wondering how some people do there eye liner, because when i do it, it looks different from some people.. does anyone have a tips that can help me know what to do?Makeup help?
what I do is I close the eye I'm applying it on, and pull on the eyelid towards away from my nose. like stretching the eyelid kind of. i hold it in position and i just draw the line.

i only wear eyeliner on my top lid though, and wear it wing tip/cat eye or whatever its calledMakeup help?
i avoid eyeliner and use a brown eyeshadow to like the top
you need to put how you do it and why its different
some people with light skin or light hair look bad with dark eyeliner or even dark mascara. if u have fair skin, use brown, not black. if its not, then mascara is best to start with, and eyeliner can look great on the top, and best a thin line on the bottom
check the links below for beauty tips to:-- * Applying Eyeliner

you need more info on yourself and why its different...

i hold my eyelid down and then do it, you dont poke your self in the eye :)

dont make it to thick under the eyes either, or you'll look like a goth or something

    Makeup help?

I have small, brown eyes. What can I do to make them appear larger without piling on too much makeup? Thanks!!Makeup help?
I get told I have big eyes and I don't think I do at all.

I put white shimmery eye shadow just underneath my eye. It kind of makes it look like you went tanning with eye goggles but in a much prettier way :)

I than use this maroonish brown color in the crease of my lid, from the outside of the eye and stopping half way. Using a little liner on top and bottom also helps. Also, only applying those to the outside.Makeup help?
Put some white pencil close to the eyelashes on the lower eyelid and in the inner part of the eyes, close to your noce. Then put some dark eyeshades on the upper and lower eyelids, but just a little bit. Then finish with maskara.
    put some black eye liner.
PUT ON NOT ALOT JUST ENOUGH EYE LINER
eyelash curler and a thickening mascara..line the outside of ur lashes with a thin line of eyeliner..top and bottom..on the bottom..dont go all the way to the end closest to ur nose..that makes ur eyes look smaller..stop at about half way..go all the way across on the top though
A brown-black eyeliner is a great opener, but you need practice. Also a pale shade of shadow right under your brow widens you eyes.

White shadow on the outer corner. try it!
try adding eyeliner around the edges of your eyes.

also, if you have an old mascara brush, use it to lift your eyelashes.

you dont need the actual mascara, just a lifting brush. the lift along with the definition from the eyeliner should make them pop out more.
All you need is some dark brown eye liner and brown mascara. Believe me it works miracles. Just go to Ulta and ask a clerk there. They will tell you everything you need to know.
I'm not sure if it would work but i heard on The Tyra Show that if you wear a little white eyeliner, it will make you look more awake. So, maybe it will make your eyes look a little bigger. If you wear eyeshadow, don't use dark colors. Good luck!
Use dark shimmery purples, silvers, and golds eyeshadow. Smokey eyes look great on people with brown eyes. Fill in your entire upper lid with a soft powder pencil in black or charcoal. Line along your lower lash line and then load up with black mascara to make your eyes pop! Blot your lids with tissue before you line them. This will help make your shadow and liner stay in place. Hilary Duff has brown eyes and she is always wearing smokey eyeshadow.

    Hey there!

Well, what I would do is I would not put much makeup on the rest of my face, but have some brwon gold eyeshadow and dark mascara on my eyes. I would just wear some pink colored chapstick and only a bit of foundation.

Try to bring a lot of attention to your eyes!

Don't try to distract people by bringing attention to other part of your face, like your lips or cheeks.

Because people always look at your eyes, because they are ';the window to your soul'; lol.

    Anyway,

    Good Luck!
    use the eyeliner cake pencil
Use a liner from the outside to middle of the top and bottom lid.

Do not put any on the inner lid.

    Do not use black.

I'm going to be starting student teaching and I need some tips for makeup to wear to look a little more professional. Right now I just wear cover girl foundation to even out my skin and sometimes a tinted lipgloss. I have blue eyes, dark blonde hair, and fair skin. What colors would look good on me for eyeshadow and stuff? Should I wear mascara? I would appreciate any color or brand suggestions. Thanks!!Makeup help?
Wear light foundation, a bit of blusher, black mascara and brown/ neutral/ gold eye shadow.

Urban decay do a nice range.

    Good luck teaching!Makeup help?
Keep using a foundation. Use a light shimmery brown or blue eyeshadow and black mascara. Don't be too perfessional, I am in 6th grade and I love student teachers who are fun and kind and not too stiff or perfessional, anyway it is STUDENT teaching, you are still a kid too!
use brown because it's neutral. and eyeliner on ur top lid, then eyeliner on you're bottom.. then mascara of course.. but try not to look TOO dressy.
Always foundation, a little blush to keep from looking too pale, maybelline perfect eyes liner in espresso, maybelline great lash in soft black, tinted gloss is fine, just make sure there is enough color to brighten up your face, I would stay away from eye shadow and just line the upper lid.

Best of luck student teaching, and remember sometimes the experience teaches us just as much about what not to do as what to do!!! Keep an open mind!
i have no idea iam male and like to give make up a try too where shoud i start ?????? wht to buy ?
Makeup does not make a person look Professional - if you dress professional the rest will follow.

If you want to wear make up but never have before do not do the eye shadow thing. It will not be natural to you - and you will feel it. The way you think you look - can sometimes show through and will be how other people see you.

Go with what you do right now for makeup and maybe add only mascara - black. Use maybelline - I have found them to be the best for mascara. If you insist on wearing eye shadow go with light browns only. And maybe just a small touch of blush on your upper cheek bone. Hope this helps :)
ok so where to begin with blue eyes to really make them stand out use a goldy brown color darker on the bottom of your eyelid and lighter as you go up and just a little blush and a darker lip gloss not too dark but just a little
