What are some tips for a more natural look for a teen girl who doesnt know a lot about makeup and stuff? HELP!

I have espresso colored brown hair and chocolate brown eyes. They are really small however I have thicker lashes so that takes care of the eyeliner thing (I think?!) My lips are small and I have recently gotten contacts but otherwise I wear dark glasses (plastic ones that are dark with rhinestones on the sides). I have what I think is a large nose and a chubby face. I want to accomplish a FAST and EASY natural look that doesnt look like I am a **** and I want to wear some makeup. My complexion is more fair but it is a bit blotchy. What are some good tips and brands that would work for me. I'd really appreciate this. 10 pts awarded to best answer. You don't need alot of make-up...You will find out most guys doesn't like a girl to wear alot at all...All you need is a press power and put it on lightly on your face...One that would be great on you, Would be cover girl soft honey...This would put alittle color in your face and still have a natural look...You can get this brand at wal-mart at less cost...Try it and see how it will make you look...

I remember my teen years as well, so here are a few tips

eyes : try kohl black / or even green , and a thin line of eyeliner.

wear mascara when you are going out.

lips : chap stick or gloss

For your face you could use a foundation yssome times ,but a nioce scrubbed clean look goes well with teens alwa
pale or light lipgloss and wear your hair down more and when you wear your glasses put on a dark shade of eyeshadow like green or blue to bring out your eyes and really light lipgloss to show off your skintone more

happy to answer...
Put some liquid powder, some black or brown mascara and your favorite shadow (if you don't have one try brown, pink, green(but you have to wear something green with it) or peach) and lip gloss. It can be neutral, with shine, pink or peach.I recommend Avon if you can get it, or Miss Sporty.
i would suggest checking out neutrogena's line of cosmetics. everything they put out is designed to look natural and flattering on any skin tone. all of their foundations are made for teen skin with problems like blotchy skin or breakouts, and won't clog your pores! they have these creme eye shadows called soothing eye tints that come in two very natural shades that you can wear alone to give a great, clean, bronzed look or under any other eyeshadow to prevent creasing and make the shadow last all day.

the key is to use your makeup to bring out your features, not cover them up! you have the right idea by not wanting to wear much, but you do want to polish yourself up a bit, and that's great. seriously though, check out neutrogena. that's all i use!

hope all goes well! good luck!
Try Bare Escentuals make0up. You can't lose!
use a good powder that is almost similar to the color of your skin. check if it's hypoallegenic. it is still best to use a mascara even if you think you have a good eyelashes. you can try those mascara that makes your lashes longer since you said it's already thick. never leave without a lip gloss or lip balm. if you are uncomfortable in using a lipstick you can use those instead and look for a color that is not too dark or too light. orangy or pinkish are the best colors. also try putting some blush on. it depends on your cheeks actually. you can use a reddish-brownish color of blush on for a complete full effect.
go to seventeen.com they even have some step by step videos.good luck
well in my opinion, if you have small eyes, you need to open them up with a thin layer of black eyeliner on top and bottom (starting from the outside and stopping before the crease thing (just dont apply it on the entire lid)... then use a shimmery gold shadow or pink, i think that color looks good on anyone... then use mascara... (cover girl super lash) that's what i use and i love it.... try origins concealer make up... its all natural and blinds in really good and it covers blotches... i love it... then add Little blush to your cheeks and some pink/clear lip gloss... that's pretty much how i wear my make up and its not slutty or anything.... good luck!!! have have fun with makeup...
I would advise you to go to a department store with a MAC counter and get them to do your makeup (its free, but they'd be happy if you buy something). Everyone who works at MAC has to be a licensed makeup artist. My friend went there, told them she didn't want complicated, she rarely wore makeup and she wanted a natural look. When they were done she looked absolutely stunning - like her but amazing! Totally fresh. The makeup artist taught her how to do everything while she was applying it. My friend bought a couple things and has used them ever since and redid the look without any problem.
black liner will only make your eyes look smaller. white powder dusted lightly around the eye will open them up. then use black or blk/brown mascara. Also if you think you can arch your eyebrows with a tweezers, that will widen the eye. be careful not to over tweeze!! otherwise maybe just a little bronzer on your T and some clear gloss on your lips. If you wanna keep it natural avoid eye shadow and blush, too much margin for error.
Be simple. All you need is a little color. Use a good coverage foundation and some bronzer...apply it in the ';T'; of your face...down your nose and across your cheeks and maybe a little bit on forehead and chin. This will help with the roundness and nose problem.

Use a slightly shimmery or matte eyeshadow on lids and in crease, neutral colors. You would be surprised how much it will add. Don't forget to highlight your brows...choose a lighter color and apply above shadow and underneath your brow.

Use a black mascara, which helps brown eyes stand out. A brown or blue mascara would wash out the color...I know...I have brown eyes.

Definitely play with some bronzer and neutral colors...you will be able to tell what YOU like best.
I always like to experiment with new make up before I go out with it. If you skin is clear (no spots) and only a little blotchy I would suggest a sheer tint or tinted moisturiser. If you have thick lashes that are dark you can use a clear mascara to make them more noticeable and glossy. Also an eyelash curler could be better for you. Eyebrows are also important as they frame your face. I have glasses and your eyebrows are so important when it comes to 'opening up your eye area'. Go to a salon and talk to the therapist about what shape is best for you. Some people suggest a white eyeliner on the inner side of your eyelashes to open up small eyes. I have tried this and I can't see the difference, but check it out anyway in case it works for you.

Other than that, if you want a basic, natural look I would just put on some light peachy blusher on the apples of your cheeky and a neutral lipstick. I think for your skin colour (by the sounds of it) I would suggest a sheer grape or peach colour, like a gloss. Nothing heavy or creamy, especially is you have small lips (like me). Gloss always makes your lips look bigger because they reflect light. If you want eye colour, I suggest greens or pinks for brown eyes (for going out I suggest some metallic gold!!), so you don't look too bland. Don't resort to browns!! For 'chubby' cheeks I would use a bronzer just below your blusher to slightly darken your cheeks and make them seem a little slimmer - use very sparingly!! You can use this around your jaw line as well - but this is getting a little more complicated.

Brands can differ depending on whether you have sensitive skin or allergies, also if you have a philosophy like no animal testing or organic products. I love Bobbi Brown, Mac and Nars for colours. I use Bourgeois' matt foundation. But for a tint, I would suggest Benefit or Mac. But really - everyone is always looking for the best look for them, just keep experimenting till you are happy with the products and look you want. As you get better at applying your make up it will be faster to do without mistakes.
