What will help to keep my makeup on throughout the day?

My skin gets so oily and makeup just melts away. Even my eyeshadow does not stay on the whole day. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! What will help to keep my makeup on throughout the day?
Switch to mineral makeup, wear a primer, and use the setting spray by Smashbox. Smashbox makes an excellent primer and setting solution spray.

Mineral makeup works wonders for people with oily or combination skin. It's not liquid, doesn't clog pores, significantly reduces acne, and it covers everything when used properly.

If you continue with your makeup, Sephora carries a line of blotting pads for throughout the day but I still would recommend mineral makeup since it is lighter and in powder form. It is lighter and feels as if you are not wearing any makeup at all. What will help to keep my makeup on throughout the day?
put a cream base on first and then put powder on top.
You should use shine removal facial tissues to remove the oil. They work without disturbing your make-up. Also try milk of magnesia. Many women with your same problem swear that this stuff works, making their make up stay on for hours without having to do any touch ups.
Cleanse your face really well and then apply some lotion. The lotion will help because it will moisturize so your pores won't think they have to produce oil to moisturize your skin. Before you put on any makeup, put foundation all over your face. Apply whatever makeup you usually wear and then brush a translucent powder over your face. That will help decrease oil. Hope I could help :)
First, before you put on makeup, cleanse your face with an oil free cleanser (if you're not doing so already). Then before putting on foundation and other eye makeup, dust on some pressed powder all over your face, even eyelids. This absorbs oil and keeps your face fresh. Then apply foundation and other makeup, and apply another thin layer of powder. You will have to blot your face midday (clean and clear oil blotting sheets, $4 at drugstores) and reapply powder.
hey

Well i found a producy from Benefit, which works really well. It keeps any make-up on all day!

Try She-Laq by Benifet. It comes with all these applicators for this liquid that makes any makeup on your face waterproof.
use oil free products. use an oil controlling solution under your moisturizer. use an eyeshadow base/primer, i use one by urban decay. also use oil blotting sheets. i use clean and clear. they dont disturb your makeup.
In addition to first answer, also check out primer. There are primers for the face as well as made for the eyelids. They are made to solve this very problem.
mineral based makeup helps with the oilyness. also exfoliating your skin helps with the oil.
