Go to your local mall, find somewhere that sells makeup and has an associate to help you. They will apply your makeup for you and show you whats goes where. Also, you tube makeup lessons. Theres great stuff out there. I kinda taught myself...Who is a good person to ask for makeup help?
Well there are plenty of things you can do to learn how to apply makeup.

As mentioned before You can go to a department store and ask for help or you can use youtube.

Here is a list of channels:

Also you can buy/check out from your library books:

Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin

Makeup Your Mind by Francois Nars

Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual

These can be bought/checked out at book stores, libraries, and online.

Hope this was helpful.
If you live in an urban or suburban area, you should have a Nordstrom department store nearby. Go there and go to the Dior makeup counter. The sales rep will give you a makeover for free and tell you about makeup and even give you some starter samples. Just tell her/him that you are new at makeup and need help. They would be glad to!
you can ask us
You can ask me for any make-up tips. You can go to my profile and email me... =)
i am.(:

i don't know what you're specifically asking

but if you edited your question, i could def.

help.

also;

you can go on sites that have people you

can e-mail for help. like Bobbi Brown %26amp;%26amp;

MAC. you can contact someone from those

sites to ask about their makeup.(:

or you could go to a department store %26amp;%26amp; go

to the counters. MAC would be a good place

to go. you can ask questions %26amp;%26amp; they'll even

put makeup on you for free, just to see how

you like it.

also, you could go to an Ulta or Sephora store.

they sell all types of makeup %26amp;%26amp; you can get

a lot of answers there.

but i would suggest these things, if you're only

starting to use makeup;

cleanser [if you dont have one]; Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. you should use a cleanser when you wake up, %26amp;%26amp; before you go to bed. it's not a heavy acne thing, so if you have a lot of acne i would suggest something stronger. perhaps, Clean %26amp;%26amp; Clear? but Purity Made Simple is really nice. it cleans your pores, leaves your skin feeling moisturized [without feeling greasy], evens your skin tone %26amp;%26amp; it also removes makeup. you can see the review on it, here;

http://www.sephora.com/browse/product.jh鈥?/a>

exfoliater [if you dont have one]; St Ive's Apricot Scrub. it's the BEST exfoliater i've ever used. plus it's won the best exfoliater in Teen Vogue %26amp;%26amp; CosmoGirl. it clears away blackheads just like THAT! but only use it 1-2 times a week. [3 if you have oily or acne-prone skin].

moisturizer [if you dont have one]; usually people have a hard time finding a good moisturizer, since everyones skin is different. but i've found two moisturizer's that work perfectly on ALL skin types. they are, Clinique's Moisture Surge %26amp;%26amp; Philosophy's Hope In A Jar.

here is the Clinique one;

%26amp;%26amp; here's the Philosophy one;

with moisturizer's, all you do is apply them all around your face after you cleanse. dont use a lot. just use enough to put a little all around your face.

now, here comes the makeup.

lip gloss; MAC's Pink Fish Lip Conditioner [from the Hello Kitty collection] is great. it's SUCH a pretty color. also, NARS %26amp;%26amp; Stila have very pretty lipglosses. you can get NARS %26amp;%26amp; Stila products at sephora.com %26amp;%26amp; MAC products at maccosmetics.com

foundation; SKIP IT! if people just took care of their skin, nobody would need this. it clogs up your pores, makes your skin really bad %26amp;%26amp; never looks good. just SKIP it!

concealer; you can use this. just not all over your face. if you have acne, dont cover it up! it'll only make it worse. i use MAC's Studio Sculpt Concealer under my eyes if i have dark circles. you can also try Benefit's Erase Paste. i think MAC's concealer is much better though. you can get Benefit products at sephora.com.

eyeshadow; this isnt necessary. but MAC has good eyeshadows.

eyeliner; this isnt necessary either. but you can use eyeliner instead of eyeliner. just get a dark eyeshadow %26amp; put it on your water. it wont smudge or run like eyeliner would.

powder; not necessary but if you want coverage, i would suggest getting MAC's Mineralize Skinfinish Natural. it gives little coverage %26amp;%26amp; makes your skin look all glowy %26amp;%26amp; pretty.(: use a Kabuki brush to put powder on, because then it goes on easily, smoothly %26amp;%26amp; no one will suspect you're wearing it.

lipstick; lol no one needs it.(: if you want color on your lips, use a lip stain. Stila has good ones.

mascara; nobody needs it. even if you have light lashes, you still dont need it. but i would suggest Givenchy's Phenomen'Eyes Mascara. it gets every lash without smudging.

i think i'm forgetting something, but i pretty much covered a lot.

hope this helps(:
