MAKEUP HELP!: I buy dream matte mousse foundation, and i have tried boujois' powder, [read on]?

but at the end of the day, i can't find an easy to apply foundation that makes my skin look better and covers blemishes. I use the dream matte mousse stuff, but it's streaky sometimes, and it doesn't cover blemishes. Anyone got any suggestions?

Thanks to all answerers

hey there, why dont you try a concealer under your foundation so the concealer covers the blemishes and is really small and easy to apply throughout the day. it would be best to use one with tea tree oil in it, so it actually 'kills' the blemishes whilst it conceals them. just rub and pat the concealer on, and then apply your foundation as usual and this should help lots.

Go to a department store and ask a consultant .

Tell her of your problems and let her recommend one. They will give you a generous sample which you can take home and try if you don't get on with it then take it back and tell them why keep going until you do find one that suits. They have loads of different types to suit all skin colours, agesetc.

Paying a bit more for a decent foundation that you wear on your face every day should be high on your list, try estee lauder.
I first use Maybelline New York pure.concealer to cover up my blemishes and i use clinique almost makeup for my foundation then i pour a little on the back of my hand then i dip a little bit of it with huge blush brush and apply it on my face. The foundation i use doesn't look like you have any foundation on just a heathly shine and it doesn't give you a dreaded cake face!
well, you have tried mousse and powder, so wy dont you try a liquid? maybelline shine free is good, it covers all my blemishes, and apply with a cosmetic sponge, it shouldnt be streaky then .

go in boots and try on lots of different types of foundation on your arms etc and write on them what one tey are, then a our later see which is the best and go and buy it!
the matte mousse stuff is gross, my friend uses it.

you could try the one where you can change the skin tone to different ones, i forget the name.
